Information: Cinco de Mayo Fiesta (Spanish for "Fifth of May"), national holiday in Mexico commemorating the Mexican Army's defeat of French forces on May 5, 1862.

How it Works: Each year the Hispanic's celebrate the fifth of May by holding a two day Fiesta.

The event offers live music, entertainment, food, and activities.

Event: Farm Workers Appreciation Fiesta
Location: Memorial Park, Caldwell
Timing: August
Information: Farm Workers are acknowledged for their hard work in the agriculture industry.

How it Works: Employers of the farm workers hold a fiesta in recognition of all their hard work and supply food, music and offer booth space to vendors.

Event: Fiesta Idaho
Location: Lakeview Park, Nampa

Information: A celebration of Idaho's Hispanic heritage

How it Works: Each year they offer Mexican folk arts, music, Menudo cookoff, traditional food, games, kid's bullfighting, mariachi concert and a low riders car show.
